Applied Energetics enters into a teaming agreement with L 3 Interstate Electronics Corporation

TUCSON, Ariz. - August 23, 2010 - Applied Energetics, Inc. (NASDAQ:AERG) today announced that it has entered into a strategic teaming agreement with L-3 Interstate Electronics Corporation (IEC) to pursue DOD contracts involving counter-IED systems. L-3 Communications is the 6th largest defense contractor in the United States, and IEC is an operating division of L-3 Communications. Under the terms of this agreement, Applied Energetics will serve as prime contractor with L-3 IEC positioned as subcontractor. The two companies intend to collaborate on proposal development, marketing of systems and services and activities mutually agreed in the pursuit of new business.

Applied Energetics Receives 10 Million Contract From Marine Corps

TUCSON, Ariz. - January 8, 2010 - Applied Energetics, Inc., (NASDAQ:AERG) today announced it has been awarded a $10.4 million contract from the U.S. Marine Corps. The contract funds will support field operational support for deployed systems, training of U.S. Marines, procurement of additional systems, development of improvements to allow installation of the system on additional Marine Corps and U.S. Army vehicles, and an engineering package to facilitate future transition of the system to Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP).
